Supply identified by Rural Exports
Rural Exports identifies supply entering a buyer's market that fits stated purchasing requirements, and contacts the buyer directly.
Requirements submitted by the buyer
A buyer may submit a specific requirement: a product, material, ingredient, piece of equipment, or manufacturing capability. Rural Exports searches for an appropriate source. Sourcing requests are quoted individually.
What buyer access includes
- Early notice of some products entering the buyer's market
- International freight covered on some initial orders
- The option to see how a product performs in the buyer's market before committing to repeat orders
- A direct Rural Exports contact for each requirement
First Commercial Order
A buyer interested in a product may want to see how it performs in that market before ordering again. Rural Exports coordinates the first commercial order. The order tells both companies what they need to know before repeat business.
Repeat Orders
On repeat orders, Rural Exports can continue to coordinate logistics and export-side operations. A coordination fee applies per shipment. Fees are quoted based on the product, route, and scope of coordination required.
Freight
For some products entering a new market, international freight on the first commercial order is covered. The buyer purchases the merchandise. Duties, taxes, customs brokerage, licenses, importer-of-record obligations, and other import-side charges remain with the buyer unless otherwise agreed. Repeat orders proceed under ordinary commercial freight terms.
