The First Commercial Order

Rural Exports can coordinate an initial commercial order into a new market. The order produces information a market study cannot:

Freight cost Transit time Documentation Packaging performance Condition on arrival Handoffs between the parties Economics

The outcome determines what follows: repeat orders, corrections before a further order, or a revised plan for the product in that market.

Initial Order Freight

For some products entering a new market, international freight on the first commercial order is covered. The buyer purchases the merchandise. Duties, taxes, customs brokerage, and other import-side charges remain with the buyer unless otherwise agreed. Repeat orders proceed under ordinary commercial freight terms.
